I was waiting for rhubarb and strawberries for ages to come. Here they are. Just roasted in some butter, that’s delicious. Add some vanilla ice cream and that’s a dream come true.
Roasted Rhubarb and strawberries
- 80 gr rhubarb
- 80 gr strawberries
- 20 gr butter
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 dash lemon juice
- Clean and cut rhubarb.
- Clean and cut in 4 the strawberries.
- Mix, add the sugar and lemon juice.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan and sauté the rhubarb and strawberries for about 5 minutes.
- Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or strawberry sorbet.
