How awesome this is to go to strawberry picking with my little baby, so she learns that strawberry do not grow either in the fridge or on the supermarket. And most of all that Strawberry mint sorbet is delicious!
The townspeople go to the countryside! Along for the adventure! The car seat on the back, Julie in the stroller, we look around for our red car that we had booked on the internet. We install our beautiful, gave her a small cookie and her teddy. And we heading to the Taulard farm. “Taulard” in French significate a person who did jail time :), scary no? We arrive and there is the tragedy … All the others wander with large containers, … But fortunately, they had planned everything for city people and we could fill 3 of their large trays with a little Julie who did not quite understand the concept and was all pink at the end of the gathering. At 16 months, we can forgive her.
And when on the way back, a couple was discussing the fate of their strawberries, I told myself that I too was going to turn them into sorbet.

PS. Delighted to hear you’re ‘teaching’ your little daughter that strawberries do not grow in the supermarket, in the best way.
