This was my favorite cocktail when I was living in Spain. I loved it so much that I brought back the recipe in France. Anyway we are so close from Spain in the south of France that sometimes it is really difficult to tell where is the boundary between French and Spanish recipes.
This cocktail is not expensive at all as you are doing it with inexpensive wine. Do not forget to place all the ingredients in the fridge prior making your summer red wine.
When I drink this cocktail, I am feeling like this is summer again. I am sitting on a terrace in the center of Madrid, eating some tapas. I need to put on my sunglasses. The sun is rising and I am dazzled by this large amount of light. Today in the middle of winter, I am dreaming of such a light. I am dying to feel the sunshine warming my every cell. Missing the south so much right now. The weather in Switzerland is something else. Not always that warm, but we have snow and we can ski!
For now I will only be dreaming of it and will bring the sun inside with this delicious cocktail or maybe I could change my mind and make a mulled wine instead J!
