I am usually not a bit fan of mixing chocolate with fruits. I know that everybody likes it and thinks that it’s delicious; but I don’t know that’s just not my thing. I love chocolate cakes and almost anything with chocolate. I really like fruits especially pears. So tasty! However associated together, it seems weird.
I was wrong. These pears belle helene were delicious. The pears are first poached in boiling syrup and then you leave them to cool in it so pears really capture the flavor.

You will love the smell in your kitchen when the chocolate begins to melt together with the cream in a water bath. Stirring regularly, your chocolate sauce will get the perfect texture and pouring this sauce on top of your poached pears will be magnificent.
That will be the time to resist to your senses and bring your dessert onto the table before you eat it all; so your dinner finishes with fireworks.
