Home made lemon ice tea recipe

With these warm days, we would love to drink cool drinks with Adrien. Unfortunately there are always too many sugar in the drinks you can find at the supermarket including ice tea. Adrien told me that it would love to drink some with less sugar. As a result I went straight away to the kitchen.

I had some black tea, lemon, sugar and water (not too difficult to get in Switzerland). I used brown sugar and very little in order to limit sweet in this delicious drink and the result was really nice.

Beforehand, I was not an ice tea big fan. But since few years, I love it. I am writing right now drinking a large glass of ice tea and I am already filling better, cooling down. It looks like the temperature is also decreasing outside. I hope that a light and cold rain will soon come in Lausanne. So if you wish to cool down too, I would advise you to prepare few liters. And if unlike us you like sweet drinks, do not hesitate to add 1 or 2 tablespoons of sugar more. Mix and taste to ensure you like it !

I’ve never tried making ice tea before but this sounds so lovely and refreshing, I need to try it out over the summer 🙂
