red wine
8.3 cups, 2 US quarts or 66.6 oz

star anises

cinnamon sticks
3
cloves

lemon juice

orange zest
2
points of a knife
nutmeg

brown sugar (2 cups or 12.5 oz)
Instructions
Pour red wine in a large casserole dish. Add star anises, cinnamon sticks, cloves, lemon juice, orange zest, nutmeg and sugar. Mix.
Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Leave to cook for 15 minutes and serve.
