My grand mother baked mePain Perdu (the real french name), when I was visiting her. Because the recipe is really easy, I was cooking with her too!

Ingredients (2 persons):
- 4 slice of stale bread
- 3 dl of milk
- 2 eggs
- Mix the eggs together and then add the milk
- Soak the bread into this blend
- Heat up a pan
- Color the bread golden with butter
- Add sugar and cinnamon at your convenience
- Serve hot
According to french customs, the families were using old bread to not waste food. But nowadays it is common to use brioche’s slices which taste really good!
